Designer Marcantonio continues his naturalist exploration... These troublingly realistic birds are taking over our interiors as if to remind us of the unbreakable link which exists between man and nature.

An ode to nature, Sparrow lamps offer a poetic spectacle for us to enjoy: graceful birds hold in their claws, not twigs, but cables fitted with bulbs to light up our nights and perhaps our minds!

As if suspended in the air, the cables seem flexible. In reality, they are flexible steel rods that can be twisted to make them adopt swirling, fluid shapes. The white resin birds are available in different positions: landing, take off, cruising. Evanescent and light, these sensitive, witty lights bring a touch of magic to our interiors.

These little lamps will please both kids and grown-ups! They give off a soft mood lighting.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

By creating this collection, designer Marcantonio is exploring themes like the relationship between man and nature, art and design, philosophy and the way things are. These sculptural objects, at the boundary between art and design, create a dreamlike, poetic, fantastical world.

After attending the Academy of Fine Arts, Marcantonio started creating unique pieces of design, enriching them with artistic concepts. He is quickly becoming one of the most esteemed Italian art designers of his generation. Connections between people and nature are his favourite theme, interpreting both the dynamics and beauty of them.
