CarPro Iron X 1L (LS) LEMON SCENT

Highly effective, acid-free and pH balanced (6~7pH) car paint, wheels & glass cleaner (safe for all wheels including aluminium/Chromes/Anodised and alloys). This formulation is also effective and safe for use on all car surfaces and will not deteriorate clear coats. This preventative measure puts a stop to corrosion , IronX contains unique chemical ingredients that effectively dissolves the sintered iron by forming a water soluble iron complex. No other method cleans paint and wheels as deeply as IronX. The IronX Paint and wheels Decontamination System was developed as a method of removing paint contamination beyond what can be removed by washing or claying !!. If you are familiar with detail clay, you know it is capable of removing above surface contaminants that have bonded to the paint. The IronX is designed to remove what lies below the paint surface as well as above.

Airborne chemical compounds and ferrous particles (particles containing iron) actually penetrate the paint and create corrosive compounds that eat deep into the paint's sub-layers or paint’s pin-holes. This is a gradual process that often is not evident until it's too late. Claying does not remove the entire particle which will continue to spread beneath the surface if not dissolved.

During the use of your vehicle, brake dust and road grime become sintered to the surface of the car paint , rims and wheels due to the high temperature conditions they are normally exposed. Brake dust contains high levels of iron and once sintered to the rim, becomes extremely difficult to dissolve or remove without the use of harsh chemicals. IronX opens up the paint's pores to release ferrous particles and to neutralise caustic compounds that have developed in the paint's subsurface. Ongoing damage is immediately stopped and future damage is prevented by removing the ferrous particles.

IronX sprays on as a transparent liquid. As the cleansing liquid begins to work into the dirt and grime, the formula begins to turn purple/ red. The purple/red coloration is the IronX Cleaner forming a bond to the sintered iron on the car paint and wheel and changing its state to a water soluble complex for easy removal. Stubborn, baked on grime may take a small amount of agitation. Rinse car paint and wheels thoroughly with a power washer and wipe dry.

The IronX is used by body shops for pre-cleaning prior to detailing and by dealerships for new and used car prep. It is proven to deliver a clean, glassy smooth vehicle that is protected from the harmful effects of paint contamination. No other is as fast and effective at removing multi-layer paint and wheels contamination.

Features:
Removes Iron Particles and prevents the spread of iron-related damage & helps to protect your vehicle from paint system failure.
New Formula combines Cherry perfume to aid in masking Iron Dissolving Chemicals
Safe to use, Acid Free, and pH neutral (pH 6-7).
Safe to use on Clear Coat Paint
Safe to use on Aluminum, Chrome, Anodized, Alloy, or Clear coated wheels.
Safe for use on all solid car surfaces and will not deteriorate clear coats. (Avoid using on Fabric Convertible tops.
Directions:

Shake the bottle.
You can cover the surface with Iron X by spraying it everywhere but that can be wasteful. I recommend that you spray as needed and spread it with a small sponge or applicator to cover the entire surface. You may also consider using an atomizer type spray bottle or HVLP gun. In any case evenly cover the surfaces you wish to decontaminate. The product is strong so you don’t have to be wasteful. Just make sure it contacts the entire surface.
Allow the product to dwell for 5 minutes in the shade. Do not allow it to dry in the sun. On light colored paints you will see the product dissolving ferrous particles as it turns color. On darker colored paints everything is happening in exactly the same way. It’s simply more difficult for you to view the color changing affect. I have read people saying the product works better on lighter colored cars but that is illogical and is not the case. It works the same regardless of car color.
After allowing to dwell take a damp (not soaked) grout or other paint safe sponge (or other media if you prefer) and agitate the surface
Thoroughly rinse the surface.

Use outside or with sufficient ventilation.
Use latex or Nitrile gloves, and face protection.
If there is an inordinate amount of tree sap, tar, other organic material, wax, or sealants on the vehicle I recommend you strip them first with TarX so Iron X can attack the ferrous particles without any interference.
For best results apply to a mostly dry surface. A few drops of water is ok.

Iron X Facts and Frequently Asked Questions:
How iron particles appear on your car surface and where?

Iron particles are all around us, and ofcourse on our cars after traveling through the environment. They can be made from your car braking, driving near other cars, big trucks, train rails, industrial zones etc. They adhere to the car surface and once they "stick" to your paint due to there sharp edges together with sunshine they start to bake into the soft car paint layer where they oxidize and rust.

How to prevent iron dust from etching your paint ?

It’s almost impossible to prevent the irons to stick on the surface , but it has been proven that inorganic coatings (such as Cquartz & C1) that have self-cleaning effects can reduce the quantity of iron that adheres to the surface.

How to remove iron particles from surface?

There are few options. Clay bar is one of them however claying will remove most of the irons by shaving them, which leaves some underneath the surface where it cannot reach. Also clay could possibly mar your paint with micro scratches together with the iron it catches. Another option is by oxalic acid solutions. Though it may remove iron you can’t be sure it is safe on paint, which depends on dilution (low pH ), and it’s not safe to use for your own health and environment. The third option is by Iron X, a pH neutral product, which reacts only with iron particles which it dissolves. IronX contains a specific chemical that reacts aggressively with iron… BUT and it’s big but, this chemical is very unstable if not mixed in the right % ,its sensitive to heat as well. This means it can even react with open air and change color to red/purple without any contact with iron!

Why it changes its color ?

Iron X changes colour to red/purple when coming in contact with iron particles, this is due to chemical reaction between the chemicals and iron. However some other products change colours as well. The change in colour does not necessarily mean a product is dissolving iron. There are very cheap chemicals that change their character simply by contact with air.

Why the bottle is transparent?

We use transparent bottles so the customers can see if color of liquid has reacted, with the metal spring inside the sprayer or even in the open-air contact,. Once the color changes it is loosing some of its strength. However with Iron X it is still very strong even if it becomes a pink color.

Why we now use special full plastic spray heads?

In the past we faced complains about the changing color inside the bottle. this was due to the metal spring inside the spray head, which most triggers use including the so-called chemical resistant types. These spring are mostly made in China and have rust on them from their creation. That was why we recently started using only plastic springs inside the triggers. This way no more possibility of reaction with any irons until the product is used. The new triggers are marked with small stickers on them, to define from old ones.

Will Iron X stain chrome wheels or chrome trims?

No, it’s completely safe to use on any chrome wheels, trim, or bare aluminum wheels. There is only one condition: Do not let it dry under sun light

Will Iron X discolor wheel weights ?

Yes, it will. Wheel weights are made from lead, Iron X will change the lead color to green. However light agitation will recover the original color.

Will Iron X affect brake calipers ?

For most high end calipers it will not affect them however we have heard from customers in the past that Iron X can affect the paint color of low quality acrylic painted calipers. For this reason we advise you to be more careful not to spray on them.

Will Iron X remove wax from car paint?

Yes, if it’s a highly organic oil type it will affect the wax properties. If it’s a synthetic polymer sealant it won’t affect it much. On Cquartz or other inorganic coatings it won’t affect them at all. In fact it is even recommended for use on them.

Does Iron X remove tar spots as well?

No, Iron X reacts only with iron particles .

Is Iron X safe to use on 3M films venture-shields?

Yes, there is no problem at all using it on clear bra's and others.

Why does it smell so bad?

This is the nature of the chemical used, you cannot avoid this. If it doesn’t smell so strong it means it has very little effect on iron or is a very diluted or inferior formula. We do advise you to use a facemask and latex (or Nitrile) gloves while using Iron X.

Why Iron X has low to medium viscosity?

The viscosity was the struggle between the best impact with iron and the best/safest way to easily remove it from the surface. If you make the product too thick will not react well with iron particles due to the thickener additives. If you make it too thin there will only be a short reaction time, which will leave some iron behind. With Iron X we have attempted to find the sweet spot between these two challenges to hit the center of the target with our solution.

Can I leave Iron X to dry on the surface?

Yes, you can leave Iron X on the surface to dry, but not under direct sunshine! However I don’t suggest you leave any chemical composition to dry.

How can I remove iron in a more economical way?

There are few ways. Buy in bigger size containers if you know you are going to use it more in future. Buy the eco refill packs, these save the cost for the plastic bottle and triggers + it’s weight for delivery. You don’t need to "soak spray" your car and wheels with Iron X. A light spraying and agitating will do the job as well. Iron X is powerful enough to handle with a few spritz on the surface. Another option is by using a HVLP (high volume low pressure) gun together with air pressure you can save much of the liquid and spray the surface well. Use Iron X Soap Gel for maintenance, using it neat on car surface or wheels will be a powerful iron remover with very low consumption however you will need to agitate and leave on the surface to react.

Cane Corso approved....
Size: Large, Pattern Name: Pack of 1
My Cane Corso loves this ball!!! She carries it around in her mouth like a round pacifier. Sometimes I'll wake up with the ball next to my head on my pillow. Lol This is the third one I've bought. She doesn't destroy them at all . Somehow she loses them. Yesterday she had two floating around. Lol. Earlier I gave her one of those hard rubber balls with feet... She destroyed it within minutes. She can skin a tennis ball and chew it in half in about 5 minutes. This ball is by far a favorite toy of her's. And she doesn't chew it to bits . And it glows in the dark which is fun for playing fetch at night. It's very easy to clean. Sometimes I put little snacks inside for her while she's laying down with her ball. I will definitely keep buying these balls everytime we lose one . They make her happy. And that makes me happy.

BEST GLOW BALL! MY COLLIE BLUE HEELER MIX IS OBSESSED
Size: Large, Pattern Name: Pack of 1
Well if I could just say...Mommas a fan too....BUT I think my dog should be the sponsor of CHUCKIT because he owns everything and he BREATHES, DREAMS, RUNS with #chuckit balls!! Since 8wks. old & Now 10 yrs young, BDAY=8.10.26....he wakes up with it in his mouth and falls asleep with IT! I HAVE THEEEE PROOF LOL SERIOUSLY OBSESSED! #chuckit #makemydogyoursponsor WE HAVE EVERY BALL X10 FOR SOME, launchers, bucket o balls , you name it so yeah #obssesedisanunderstatement #bordercollieblueheelermix #HARLEY ♡ nice colors and the durability is amazing 👏 know if you have a chewer I'm not sure because he just likes to catch the ball and then chew it sometimes and then leave it alone, until next time around. But the GLOW BALL just being cewed for so long and the textire is obviously different so it does end up cracking and you throw it away, definitely different rubber but highly recommend them both actually ALL of them👌🎉🥳🫶🏼 my Sisters 2 yr old pit destroyed them in minutes but only FOR PLAY , so IF YOU DONT WANT THAT BALL chewed to pcs. Put it up LOL and oh all of the balls EXCEPT the GLOW BALL stay true to form and durability, for real Harleys had some of them for years!! And nothing wrong with the CHUCKIT ball 10☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ SIZE is perfect too he love the medium 2.5" ball. Perfect for catching for hrs on end. You also have a choice you can get squeaky, crunchy,or nothing or glow in the dark, 3 sizes to fit your pupper.. .. so many choices and it doesn't have to be a ball you can pick from a ton of toys ' tuggers ,launchers and indoor toys too. As for the Chew resistance...mm touchy...like I said. Aggressive chewer are more likely to tear it up way quicker than the just playing mainly like I want to fetch dog. Either way. I dont purchase any other brand besides chuck it. Has always my pick, like 20+ yrs now lol. Hands down. This is not a paid thing or promoted or whatever. Just felt i should review for chuck it♡ to date has made my dog happy and healthier for years to come♡ thanks

These are great!
Size: Medium, Pattern Name: Pack of 2
My dog loves these and now won't play fetch with any other ball. I love that they glow bright so we can play fetch after I get home from work (it gets dark around 5 now). The dog and I both like that they whistle. They also squish easily and he loves to chomp on them while he runs around. Only reason I took off a star is because he chewed a piece of it off and now it doesn't whistle or fly as far. That being said, it seems to stand up well to all the chomping he does on it. I should not have left him alone with it, I think he held it down and pulled on it. If your dog usually makes it his mission to destroy things I wouldn't leave him alone with it, other than that I absolutely recommend these. Update 12/12/20: I got another dog last year and he also loves these balls. Probably the favorite ball for both dogs, they go into hyperdrive when they see them. New dog tends to be more destructive than the older one and I still don't leave them unattended with these balls, but new dog has not destroyed one. I made the mistake of leaving one in the Chuckit overnight once. Ball was wet from playing in the snow and became lopsided. Now doesn't fly very well but my weird dog still likes it. It is also starting to dry out and crack. None of the other glow balls have done this, I'm assuming it is also from leaving it in the Chuckit overnight. Other than that, these balls are great. I did read a few reviews that said charging them with UV light made them stay brighter for a longer period, but I did not notice a difference in my quick test of this theory. Just keep a good flashlight with you and brighten them up as needed.

Good for night sessions
Size: Medium, Pattern Name: Pack of 1
Picked this up for evening fetch sessions and it’s been a win. It charges up fast, couple minutes under a lamp or in sunlight and it’s good to go, and the glow is genuinely bright, not the sad dim purple some of these put out. Makes it way easier to find in the yard at dusk, and the dog can actually track it. It’s a little on the softer side compared to a regular tennis ball, but durable enough to hold up to my big dog, who is not gentle with toys. Still kicking after plenty of chomping and slobber. Fits a standard Chuckit! launcher perfectly, which is the whole point. Pros: • Glows brightly and clearly in the dark • Charges fast from any light source • Holds up well even with a big, enthusiastic chewer • Fits standard ball-throwing sticks • Great for evening or early-morning fetch Cons: • A bit softer than a regular tennis ball — a determined power-chewer could probably destroy it eventually • Glow fades after a while, so you’ll need to recharge it during long sessions • Only glows if it’s been charged, which is obvious but easy to forget Tips: • Charge it under a bright light or in the sun for a few minutes before heading out • A flashlight works in a pinch if you forgot to charge it • Keep it out of permanent fetch duty — rotate with a regular ball so it lasts longer • Not a chew toy, even though it’s tempting to leave it with the dog Five stars. If you’ve got a dog and a yard, this makes evening fetch actually doable.
