Basic Mealworm Care Instructions:
Store your mealworms in a breathable container in the refrigerator at 3-7°C (37–45°F) to slow their metabolism and extend their active lifespan. Use our Optimal Worm Food & Bedding or wheat bran for substrate. Once a week, add a thin slice of carrot, potato or apple for hydration. Remove any uneaten produce after 3 hours to prevent mould.
