Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

Printed with calligrapher Yuichi Inoue’s work on an ecru cotton. Out of the many “single character” works by Inoue that are bold and overflowing with vitality, two of his “flowers,” a motif that he continually included in his work for over 400 pieces, was used for this design. The cover interior is dual toned, with the color of natural ecru and a vibrant yellow.
