DHA 500 by NOW® contains natural fractionated tuna oil with a high content of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids: DHA and EPA. The DHA molecule (docosahexaenoic acid) is an important component of the tissues of the human brain, skin and retina. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) initiates the process of producing docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in nature. Docosahexaenoic acid DHA contributes to maintaining proper brain development and proper vision. EPA and DHA acids contribute to the proper functioning of the heart.

The natural fish oil concentrate contained in these capsules is produced under strict quality control standards. It is tested for the absence of potentially harmful levels of contaminants (i.e. mercury, heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and other contaminants).

No allergens or ingredients were used in the production process: yeast, wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, crustaceans. Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes ingredients of other products containing these allergens.
