Additionally, these bolt are used in leaf spring shackles, leaf spring main eye bushings as well as many, many other universal applications!

All greasable bolts start out as a high quality grade 8 bolt, are rifle drilled to the center of the length of the bolt, cross drilled to allow the grease to escape and are fitted with a zerk fitting on their head for easy maintenance.

This Greaseable Bolt 4-Pack features 4 of our 9/16 in.-18 thread bolts that are 4 in. overall length and include 2 grade 8 flat washers, a locking stover nut and a 1/4 in.-28 thread zerk fitting.

Greasable Bolts Include:

• (4) 1/2 in.-20 x 3 1/2 in. long bolt with zerk fitting
• (8) Grade 8 flat washer
• (4) 1/2 in.-20 locking stover nut

Greasable Bolts Feature:

• Gun drilling of bolts (half their length) to provide grease passage
• Cross drilling to allow passage for grease to escape
• Zerk fitted heads for easy maintenance

Notes:

• Johnny Joints require non-synthetic, hi-moly lube grease such as our CE-9013G
• Important - joints require greasing at normal intervals, but they do not hold a lot of grease! Over greasing can cause damage to the joint. To prevent damage, use only a hand pump grease gun, do not expect the joint to take a lot of grease and DO NOT use pneumatic or electric grease guns!
