The 2022 Old Coach Road Nelson Sauvignon Blush has the lightest apricot and almond colour in the glass. The nose is aromatic and fresh with strong Sauvignon Blanc varietal characters of melon, passionfruit and fresh basil. The palate is pure and long with layers of lingering flavours leaving a crisp refreshing finish. The Sauvignon Blush is a refreshing and crisp wine, perfect to sip and enjoy on those beautiful sunny afternoons. Our winemakers put together a special blend of Sauvignon Blanc with just a splash of Malbec to create a crisp Sauvignon Blush.
The 2022 Old Coach Road Nelson Sauvignon Blush comes from our Brightwater vineyard. The Brightwater vines are grown in an extremely stony area of the vineyard where water and nutrient levels are low. This helps us to restrict plant vigour and crop at low levels. To further enhance the aromatics, leaves were removed to allow light penetration and air movement around the fruiting zone.
The Sauvignon Blush is a refreshing and crisp wine, perfect to sip and enjoy on those beautiful sunny afternoons. Our winemakers put together a special blend of Sauvignon Blanc with just a splash of Pinot Noir to create a crisp Sauvignon Blush.
