On the nose, this Sauvignon Blanc shows bright aromatics of jalapeno, capsicum, green apple emerged with refreshing topical notes. This wine is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with intense herbaceous notes. The palate has white stone fruit, tropical grapefruit, and blackcurrant characters with a weighty minerality.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from several vineyard sites in the lower Wairau sub-region of Marlborough, all of which were pruned with a three to four cane wrap. Harvested by machine, the grapes were brought to the winery at their coolest (during the night), where they were lightly pressed, cold settled, and racked prior to fermentation. The settled juice was fermented in temperature controlled, cool stainless-steel tanks to retain the fresh fruit characteristics from the vineyard. After fermentation, the wine was blended and prepared for bottling.
