Exactly as I was hoping
I highly recommend this stand. I use taller headphones, so I was worried that this might be too small. But I’m happy to say that they fit great on this stand. The control stand hold great and is stable on its own as well as on the bottom plate. Over all this stand is sturdy and well built, looks great, and feels high quality.

Premium Headphone Stand
Beautiful wood and metal headphone stand. Comes with a handy wooden block that can hold a lot more than just a controller! (like forks!) It's very solid and I am never worried about my headphones tipping. The tray is nice but it can only be used for small things because your headphones hang there. The headphone stand was very easy to assemble. I loved it so much I got 2!
