The leather is from a tannery in Tuscany in Italy it is a vegetable tanned

Beautiful, eye-catching rich cherry red tote. Hand-stitched with a front exterior pocket anchored by 3/4" straps stitched around the whole bag. Grab handles and 1" adjustable over-the-shoulder/crossbody strap w/bridle buckle. Saddle-stitched with matching German Ritza Tiger thread. The hardware is heavy low-lead solid brass. 

Rough dimensions:  Height 9", 4" Gussets,  10" Width. 

The leather is from a tannery in Tuscany in Italy - it is a vegetable-tanned leather roughly 4.5 oz thick with a beautiful suede-like finish on the back. It will soften further over time.
