Six Questions Your Hissho Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We developed this franchise business plan template through deep-dive research into the sushi kiosk sector. The model comes pre-loaded with specific data like the $5,000 monthly rent and the 8% royalty fee, but you can change everything to fit your local market. With a projected Year 5 revenue of $1,187,000 and a 4-year payback, this franchise investment analysis tool gives you the data-driven confidence to talk to lenders or partners.

When will the unit turn a profit?

Based on our data, this unit hits its break-even date in April 2026, just four months after launching. While year one EBITDA starts at $57,000, the model shows a steady climb to $344,000 by year five as catering revenue scales. Honestly, your speed to profit depends on hitting that $570,000 revenue target in the first twelve months.

Boost Your Bottom Line

  • Optimize fresh fish waste
  • Scale high-margin catering
  • Control assistant chef hours
  • Upsell bento box sets
[dynamic_pic9]

What is the total initial investment?

To get this kiosk off the ground, you are looking at a startup cost breakdown for retail sushi franchise operations totaling $237,500 in hard assets and fees. This includes the $7,500 franchise fee and a heavy $120,000 investment in kiosk buildout improvements. You'll also need to account for the minimum cash requirement of $975,000 to handle the ramp-up phase safely.

Major Capital Uses

  • Kiosk buildout $120,000
  • Refrigeration units $35,000
  • Sushi prep stations $25,000
  • Display cases $20,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What are the investor returns?

The calculating ROI for urban food kiosk franchise shows a payback period of 4 years, which is fairly standard for food service. With an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 3.05% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 0.62, the model suggests steady growth. Still, the real value is in the 5-year cash flow that eventually hits $1,187,000 in annual revenue.

Key Return Metrics

  • 4-year payback period
  • 3.05% IRR
  • 0.62 Return on Equity
  • $344k Year-5 EBITDA
[dynamic_pic11]

Where is the financial break-even?

You need to hit your break-even point by month 4 to stay on track with the model's projections. The biggest drag on your break-even is the $5,000 monthly rent combined with the 10% total franchise and marketing fees. If your sushi roll sales don't hit the $220,000 mark in year one, you'll defintely need more working capital to cover the fixed costs.

Levers for Speed

  • Increase daily foot traffic
  • Reduce packaging waste
  • Negotiate utility rates
  • Maximize peak-hour throughput
[dynamic_pic12]

How much runway is required?

The lowest cash point occurs in June 2026, where the model shows a minimum cash need of $975,000. This estimate hides the fact that your initial buildout and equipment costs hit before the first roll is sold. You need at least six months of operating runway to handle the gap between opening and the April break-even date.

Protect Your Cash

  • Phase furniture purchases
  • Manage inventory tightly
  • Use part-time crew
  • Delay non-essential signage
[dynamic_pic13]

How do different scenarios perform?

Our franchise profitability analysis for retail food units looks at how a 10% drop in revenue can push your payback period past the 5-year mark. In the high-growth scenario, where catering packages exceed the $60,000 year-one estimate, your year-1 margin improves significantly. Changing the assistant chef FTE from 1.0 to 1.8 over five years is a major variable that dictates your peak cash need.

Win the High Case

  • Aggressive B2B outreach
  • High-quality chef retention
  • Targeted social ads
  • Consistent foot traffic presence
Finance: update unit break-even and payback model by Friday.

Our franchise startup cost calculator helps you total these figures so you know exactly how much skin you need in the game. Very good quality, it's clear and it blends in well, no oily feel, no pore blockage, no tears in the eye or any kind of irritation, It works well for me.

seriously matte-ifying
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Don’t judge but back in the day I used to use Avon’s “face perfector” because it REALLY cut down on the shininess of face oil and it also had SPF. It made your face look matte without any other makeup. And I am pleased that this gel is similar. No face grease. It’s not even really a gel—if instantly feels powdery (somehow?) in your hand, thus it’s nongreasy. It leaves your face shine free and protected.

Perfect for a low-maintenance man
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have very fair skin and am a low maintenance kind of guy. My entire skin care routine is washing my face and trying my best to remember to put on sunscreen. This is the best face sunscreen I have ever used. It literally seems to disappear on my face immediately after applying it. I sometimes doubt I even got it spread evenly because of how quickly it disappears but it has worked just as well as thicker sunscreens I have used in the past. I would bet this would be great for women under their makeup because it wouldn't feel like another layer.

~ Oily Skin Review ~ (Updated)
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I haven’t seen any oily skin reviews of this product so I took a shot of buying it and trying for myself. Hopefully this review helps you. I have oily combo skin. It is also sensitive and prone to breaking out. When I shook the product, as instructed, it was not a gel I was expecting. It’s kind of matte gel (almost like a primer), which I don’t like using matte products since it makes me even more oily and the texture of the gel is like a primer. Kind of greasy but soft. However, when rubbed into the skin all the way it surprisingly left my face feeling soft and not really greasy, and even though it’s suppose to be a matte finish, I think because I used my cerave moisturizer first, it left more of a satin finish. After a couple hours I was happy to see that my face wasn’t ridiculously shining! It had a nice glow, and my face (mainly in the T-zone) felt a little bit slippery which I’ll call a win because like I said earlier the product had a bit of a greasy texture so I was expecting to feel REALLY greasy but I didn’t. And another huge bonus is it did not cause me to break out!! Usually my skin with purge on day one of using something new and my skin did not! If you have oily skin I would say try it IF you want to. The price is a bit too much in my opinion, I’d rather spend maybe $15 max on this product but honestly the results, for me, I think I would purchase it again. But oily skin responds differently for everyone so if you wanna try it, I’d say got for it. But if you don’t wanna risk it because of the price, honestly wouldn’t blame you for not trying it. Update: So I have used this for I don’t know how long now. Imma say this much. For colder seasons, my skin loves it. For warmed seasons my face starts to feel extra greasy. Bought the Daily Face liquid, my skin loves it! Have not broken out from it, no white cast. Would recommend not using the gel during warmer seasons.
