The Berserker’s first clash with the Great Flame Dragon Knight—depicted in volumes 26 and 27 of the manga "Berserk"—is brought to life in the Ultimate Premium Masterline, capturing the moment Guts dons the Berserker Armor for the very first time.
Created to accompany "Grunbeld," this piece embodies the harrowing first battle of the Berserker. Guts, burning his very life to swing the Dragonslayer, and Grunbeld, roused to fury before a formidable opponent. Their clash of wills and conviction is fully captured at 1/4 scale. While each statue achieves an extraordinary level of completion on its own, their confrontation was designed to heighten the narrative and amplify the rhythm of the composition when displayed together.
From behind the visor emerges a grim visage, straining against an onslaught as fierce as flames and against the torrent of emotions rising from within. The Berserker Armor itself features sharp-edged forms, intricately molded linework, and paint applications of deep blues and blacks layered with gloss to evoke an otherworldly texture. The billowing cloak, like a spreading darkness of the soul, and the blood-stained base immerse viewers into the world of the story.
Additional parts allow you to recreate decisive moments of the battle. A beast-like transformed head sculpt is included in two variations, each with a different neck orientation. Both incorporate an LED unit, illuminating his eyes with a glow of seething hatred. Alternate right arms adjust the grip of the Dragonslayer, enabling you to stage the very scene you envision.
The skull-helmeted head sculpt is an exclusive special part included only with the Deluxe Bonus Version. It evokes the dark path once walked by the armor’s former owner, rendering the Berserker’s cursed destiny with even greater intensity.
