Rare natural crystal specimen: a Dendritic Pyrite Agate Tower, a polished display piece featuring golden pyrite dendrites embedded in dendritic agate (chalcedony). From China, the piece measures approximately 15.5–16.0 cm tall and 4.1–4.3 cm wide, weighing about 441 g. Colour is gold; some screens may render as light blue or green, with the video showing the true colour. This natural crystal is well-suited for mineral collectors and display uses within a Kushrox Crystal Gallery collection context.

Formation & Characteristics

Dendritic agate is a chalcedony variety formed when silica-rich solutions fill voids in host rock, producing a translucent to opaque matrix. In this specimen, branching dendrites occur as pyrite crystals occupying fine cracks and fissures during formation, creating tree-like patterns that contrast with the agate background. The towers are polished to reveal the natural crystal facets and emphasize the metallic gold dendrites, a hallmark of this rare combination in a mineral specimen.
