Installation Guide

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable for safety.

7. Install the new gaskets, wear plate, and impeller. Lubricate the inside of the new housing with a small amount of marine grease.
8. Slide the new water pump assembly down over the driveshaft, ensuring the impeller key is properly aligned.
9. Secure the housing with the mounting bolts, tightening them to the manufacturer's specified torque.
10. Reinstall the lower unit, reconnect the battery, and test the engine's cooling system in water.
