Deeply coloured and beautifully purple red colour in the glass. Bright red fruit and fresh cut herbs, pure blackberry, mulberry, cassis, sits well with more savoury liquorice and choc mint, subtle smoky and spicy oak. Supple and tightly wound juicy raspberry and satsuma plum flavours fill the mouth initially, framed perfectly by gentle but just there velvety tannins, and complemented by a more serious olive tapenade, dried crushed herb finish. This is a juicy and moreish wine that also has a serious side. Cellar two to six years.

A lot of love goes into the Mitolo wines, and the Jester Shiraz is no exception. The vineyards for the Jester Shiraz are located at the southern end of McLaren Vale, close to the seaside town of Aldinga. The combination of cool sea breezes and gully winds provide ideal conditions for growing fruit of intensity and balance. The vines sit in heavy clay, which gives the wine powerful dark fruit flavours. Full flavoured, with dark fruits and savoury black olive characters, and soft, silky tannins.

Conditions were much drier compared to the previous wet and fertile growing season, which prevented any excessive vigour or disease issues. Average winter rainfall provided good soil moisture to commence the growing season. Spring rainfall was below average, whilst Summer was unusually dry, but free from damaging heat waves. Favourable daytime temperatures and cool nights in February and March led to perfect conditions at picking. The wines of the vintage stand out for their purity, power and balance. Jester Shiraz fruit is crushed immediately after being delivered to us at the winery. We allow the skin and juice mix to warm naturally over a period of several days, after which it begins fermentation. The ferment is held cool, to retain the bright primary fruit characters which appear in the resulting wine. Following ferment, we carefully press the wine to separate it from the skins. The wine is then transferred into oak barrels where it stays for twelve months before bottling.

The Jesters of the Courts of Europe had one motivation, to entertain the household of a nobleman and his guests. The Jester, a modern day entertainer, is exactly that. Able to excite and tell stories at any dinner table, they are the life of the party. They waiver from fits of laughter, to being somewhat risqué and suggestive. Ultimately, they are there to remind us not to take life too seriously. They gather friends around regularly to eat and drink well, as they of course are the instigator of such frivolity.

Food Pairing: Braised Rabbit Pappardelle.

Time saver!
Size: 100 Pack
I love these! They save so much time by making cleanup easy. The real messy ones just throw away, the not so messy ones go in dishwasher easy. They are so much better than lifting heavy pans out of the dishwasher. Also good for freezing meals then go right into oven! Thanks for such a good price on a helpful product!

NICE for soups!
Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count
We try to keep these in the house. They are REALLY nicely sized and work great for soups. They are AWESOME for soups and the only disposable plates I feel comfy using for large stews and such. Makes cleaning easy because I don't HAVE TO CLEAN! They are a bit more expensive than otherd disposable plates, but they are worth it. Pretty heavy duty plates that are thick and great for heavier foods. <3

Favorite compostable plates ever!
Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count, Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count
I’ve been using the Dixie Ultra Extra Large Compostable Paper Bowls, and I can honestly say I absolutely love them! They’re sturdy, deep, and hold generous portions, perfect for everything from hearty soups and pasta to big salads or even snacks for movie night. Unlike other paper bowls, they don’t get soggy or collapse, even with hot or liquid-heavy foods. Another huge plus for me is that they’re compostable, so I can enjoy the convenience of disposables without the guilt. They’re strong, reliable, and environmentally friendly, which is a rare combo! If you’re looking for durable, eco-conscious paper bowls that can handle anything you throw in them, these are a must-have. Highly recommend!

No more washing pozole/menudo bowls for me
Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count
Very sturdy for a paper plate. Used these for pozole at a party and saved me the hassle of washing plates. Good size, bigger than you think. When serving it does get hot so use something underneath so you don’t get burned.

Extra large paper bowls are sturdy, affordable, and make clean up a breeze.
Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count
I like the convenience of paper plates and these large 34 oz. bowls are perfect for microwave cooking. They are deep enough to handle soup, pasta, stuffing and vegetable sides with no problems and without any leaking, and are a good value for the price. They look stylish and make clean up less of a chore. You can't go wrong with Dixie paper products. They're sturdy, fun, and last through the meal.
