  • The Fresh Pack — Glossy UMAMI Pack for Cats | Mackerel 1200g

The coat tells the story. A cat with a dull, dry, rough coat is a cat whose diet is missing something — and that something is almost always the right balance of Omega fatty acids, zinc, and B vitamins. The Fresh Pack Glossy UMAMI Pack is a frozen cat food formulated specifically around coat and skin health — built on mackerel as the primary protein, one of the richest natural sources of Omega-3 (EPA & DHA) available in any food, paired with sweet potatoes, zucchini, green beans, and carrots for a complete micronutrient profile, and finished with Fresh Pack supplements that complete the Omega 3, 6 & 9 combination. The result: improved skin, softer coat, better hydration, reduced shedding, and the lustrous, glossy finish that tells you the food is working. Rated 5 out of 5 by two customers. 1200g per pack for consistent daily feeding. The food that shows on the outside.

Why The Fresh Pack Glossy Pack Is The Best Choice for Cats

    • Mackerel as Primary Protein — One of the richest natural sources of Omega-3 (EPA & DHA) available in any food — the most bioavailable and effective form of anti-inflammatory fatty acids for feline skin and coat health.
    • Omega 3, 6 & 9 — The Complete Fatty Acid Profile — All three essential fatty acid families from mackerel and Fresh Pack supplements — the nutritional foundation of healthy skin, hydrated coat, and reduced shedding.
    • Visible Results — Reduced shedding, reduced itching and scratching, softer coat, improved skin hydration, and a glossy, lustrous finish — typically noticeable within days to weeks of switching to a fresh, Omega-rich diet.
    • Zinc & B Vitamins — From Fresh Pack supplements and whole food ingredients — the micronutrients that soothe and treat skin conditions alongside the fatty acid foundation.
    • Taurine from Mackerel — Cats cannot synthesize taurine and must obtain it through diet — mackerel is a natural source of this essential amino acid, supporting heart function, vision, and reproductive health.
    • 1200g Generous Volume — A large pack for consistent daily feeding — the volume that delivers visible coat results through sustained Omega accumulation.
    • 5-Star Rated — 2 Reviews — Perfect score from every customer who has reviewed it — real results from real cats.
    • Egyptian-Made Exclusive — The Fresh Pack is a petfast.shop exclusive Egyptian brand — locally produced, freshly made, and consistently available.

    Product Details & Features

The Feline Coat-Diet Connection A cat's coat is one of the most reliable visible indicators of their nutritional status. Cats spend up to 50% of their waking hours grooming — and the quality of what they're grooming reflects directly what they've been eating. The skin and coat are among the highest consumers of dietary nutrients in the feline body, and when nutrition is inadequate, the coat is among the first systems to show it:

    • Shedding — Excessive shedding beyond normal seasonal patterns is often a sign of Omega-3 deficiency. Omega-3 fatty acids support the integrity of hair follicles and reduce the inflammatory processes that cause premature hair loss.
    • Dry, flaky skin — Insufficient essential fatty acids compromise the skin's lipid barrier — the protective layer that retains moisture and prevents environmental irritants from penetrating. A compromised barrier leads to dry, flaky, itchy skin and dandruff.
    • Dull, rough coat — A coat that lacks shine and feels rough to the touch is typically deficient in Omega fatty acids and/or zinc — the two nutrients most directly responsible for coat texture and gloss.
    • Itching and scratching — Chronic itching without an identified allergen is often nutritional in origin — Omega-3's anti-inflammatory properties directly reduce the inflammatory skin response that causes itching.
    • Hairballs — Cats with dry, brittle coats shed more loose hair, which is ingested during grooming and forms hairballs. Improving coat health through Omega nutrition reduces shedding and therefore reduces hairball formation.

Mackerel — The Omega Powerhouse for Cats Mackerel is one of the richest natural sources of Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) available in any food — and as an oily fish, it is particularly well-suited to feline nutritional needs:

    • EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) — The most potent anti-inflammatory Omega-3. Directly reduces the inflammatory processes that cause skin irritation, itching, and coat damage. Supports joint health and cardiovascular function.
    • DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) — Critical for brain and nervous system health, and a key contributor to skin cell membrane integrity and coat gloss. Particularly important for cognitive function in aging cats.
    • Complete protein — Mackerel is a complete protein source with all essential amino acids, including those required for keratin synthesis — the structural protein that makes up hair and skin.
    • Taurine — Mackerel is a natural source of taurine — the amino acid that cats cannot synthesize and must obtain through diet. Critical for heart function (prevents dilated cardiomyopathy), vision (prevents retinal degeneration), and reproductive health.
    • Vitamin D — Mackerel is one of the few natural dietary sources of Vitamin D — supporting calcium absorption, bone health, and immune function.
    • Vitamin B12 — Supports nervous system function, energy metabolism, and red blood cell production.
    • Selenium — A powerful antioxidant mineral that works synergistically with Vitamin E to protect cells from oxidative damage.

The Omega 3, 6 & 9 Balance — Why All Three Matter The Glossy Pack's "rich combination of Omega 3, 6 & 9" reflects a deliberate nutritional design:

    • Omega-3 (from mackerel and supplements) — Anti-inflammatory, supports skin barrier integrity, reduces shedding, promotes coat gloss. The most deficient fatty acid in most commercial cat foods.
    • Omega-6 (from supplements) — Supports skin barrier function and moisture retention. Essential for healthy skin cell turnover. Must be balanced with Omega-3 to avoid pro-inflammatory excess.
    • Omega-9 (from supplements) — Monounsaturated fatty acids that support skin hydration and coat softness. Supports cardiovascular health.

The balance between Omega-3 and Omega-6 is particularly critical for cats — most commercial cat foods are heavily skewed toward Omega-6 (from grain and vegetable oils), creating an inflammatory imbalance that manifests as skin irritation, itching, and poor coat quality. The Glossy Pack's mackerel-forward formula corrects this imbalance by providing abundant Omega-3 to counteract the pro-inflammatory effects of excess Omega-6.

Zinc & B Vitamins — The Skin Condition Soothers Alongside the fatty acid foundation, zinc and B vitamins play critical roles in feline skin health:

    Zinc:

    • Required for the production of keratin — the structural protein of skin and coat
    • Supports wound healing and skin barrier repair
    • Anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin irritation
    • Required for the function of over 300 enzymes involved in cellular metabolism

    B Vitamins (particularly Biotin/B7, Niacin/B3, and Riboflavin/B2):

    • Biotin — The "skin vitamin" — directly supports keratin synthesis and skin cell health. Biotin deficiency causes dry, scaly skin and coat deterioration.
    • Niacin — Supports skin barrier function and reduces inflammation. Niacin deficiency causes pellagra-like skin conditions in cats.
    • Riboflavin — Supports cellular energy metabolism in skin cells — adequate riboflavin is required for healthy skin cell turnover.

The Vegetable Matrix — Micronutrient Completion

    • Sweet potatoes — Beta-carotene (Vitamin A), Vitamin C, and complex carbohydrates. Vitamin A supports skin cell turnover and sebum production — critical for coat condition.
    • Zucchini — Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, and antioxidants. Low0calorie, gentle on the digestive system.
    • Green beans — Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and dietary fiber. Low-calorie, high-fiber — supports digestive health and weight management.
    • Carrots — Beta-carotene (Vitamin A), Vitamin C, and dietary fiber. Supports vision health alongside mackerel's DHA.nullVisible Results — What to Expect The timeline for visible coat improvement on the Glossy Pack:null- Days 3–7: Reduced itching and scratching as Omega-3's anti-inflammatory effects begin to take hold.null- Week 2–3: Improved skin hydration — less flaking, less dandruff.null- Week 3–4: Coat texture begins to soften — rough, brittle coat becomes smoother to the touch.

    Feeding Guidelines

    Cat Weight Daily Amount
Up to 3 kg 60–80g per day
    3–5 kg 80–120g per day
    5–7 kg 120–160g per day

Divide daily amount into 2–3 meals. Cats are obligate carnivores with small stomach capacity — multiple smaller meals are preferable to one large daily feeding. Adjust based on your cat's activity level and body condition.

    Serving Instructions

    1. Thaw — Remove the required daily portion from the freezer and thaw in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours, or at room temperature for 1–2 hours.
    2. Serve at room temperature — Cats are highly sensitive to food temperature — cold food is significantly less palatable. Always allow to reach room temperature before serving.
    3. Do not microwave — Degrades heat-sensitive Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), taurine, and B vitamins — the key active nutrients in this formula.
    4. Do not refreeze — Once thawed, use within 24 hours and store in the refrigerator.
    5. Transition gradually — Mix with current food over 7–10 days — cats are notoriously resistant to abrupt dietary changes.

Hairball Reduction — The Indirect Benefit As coat health improves on the Glossy Pack, shedding decreases — and with it, the amount of loose hair ingested during grooming. Reduced ingested hair means fewer hairballs forming in the digestive tract. For cat owners who deal with frequent hairball vomiting, improving coat health through Omega nutrition is one of the most effective long-term interventions — addressing the root cause (excessive shedding from poor coat health) rather than just managing the symptom.

At petfast.shop, The Fresh Pack Glossy Pack is the formula we recommend first when a cat owner asks about shedding, dry skin, dull coat, or excessive hairballs — because the answer to those problems is almost always nutritional, and this formula addresses them directly. Mackerel-rich, Omega-balanced, and formulated specifically for feline coat and skin health. Five-star rated by every customer who has tried it. Egyptian-made, freshly frozen, and delivered fast across Egypt. Because a glossy coat isn't just about how your cat looks — it's a visible sign of how they feel.

Feed the coat. See the difference. Add The Fresh Pack Glossy UMAMI Pack to your cart today — Omega-rich frozen cat food for healthy skin and a lustrous coat, delivered fast across Egypt from petfast.shop.

My lab loves t
Color: Orange & Blue Fumbler, Size: 3 x 8.5 x 9 inches (1 Pack)
This toy is my labs favorite toy. She’s obsessed and we were happy to find a toy she loves that can stay inside with us. The problem is how easily she tears it apart. We have to buy her a new one every month because when she bites into it it breaks down the foam inside, and from there she shreds the roping it’s covered in. We try to stop her, but with how often we play with it it’s inevitable. We have resigned ourselves to buying a new one once a month.

Not Chuck-It Durable
Color: Orange & Blue Squirrel, Size: 4.7 inches (1 Pack), Color: Orange & Blue Squirrel, Size: 4.7 inches (1 Pack)
Sadly only lasted an hour. My dog likes to pull apart toys over the course of a few months, with the exception of Chuck-It toys. They usually never get destroyed by him. I think its a good product but if you are looking for the durability like other toys from Chuck It - just wanted to share this is not the toy for you! Made him happy so not regretful of buying it, just wish it lasted longer. Here is him posing with it after he took bites of it like it was an apple.

1st one lasted over 3yrs, 2nd started falling apart in less than a week....
Color: Orange & Blue Roller, Size: 7.5 inches (1 Pack), Color: Orange & Blue Roller, Size: 7.5 inches (1 Pack)
My dog really loves this toy. He’s a 5yr old border collie. He doesn’t work at tearing up his toys but he does shake his toys. I bought his 1st Chuckit it indoor football over 3yrs ago. It held up very well and had normal wear and tear I’d expect from a chuckit toy to have. It developed a small tear in fabric about 6months ago. As it was still mainly intact, I let him continue to play with it. Then the tear widened and I felt good time to replace, so I ordered one from Amazon. He was ecstatic to have a new one. I was quite disappointed though as in under a week from giving it to him(he’s always supervised during play so I do know what he does with his toys and he doesn’t work at them to tear them up) I noticed a tear down the seam that was bigger than the other one had for 6months. Over the next few days, tear widened. Now cover is completely off of inside. I’m really disappointed in the quality. I’m not sure if the quality of the toy is less than when I got his first one(which I bought in a pet store such as petsmart) or if for some reason because I purchased on amazon, they are of lesser quality. I do know for a fact as I supervise his play and with his favorite toys(and usually his spendier toys) they get put up when it’s not play time. He has his other toys that he can play with anytime. I have ran also into Kong toys (Wubba) that has come apart quickly in under a month, but those were both bought on amazon and at a retail store, so I don’t know if amazon is distributing toys of lesssr quality or if toy brands that have held up in past (Kong Wubba & this Chuckit football) are just being made of lesser quality. My dog’s style of play hasn’t changed nor has his supervision. That being said, my dog absolutely LOVES this toy. I want other users to be forewarned that I’ve had 2 of this product for my dog, they both developed a tear down seam, that eventually led to outer fabric shell coming off of the inner part of the toy. Yes my dog does shake his toys but 1st lasted over 3yrs, 2nd lasted less than a month and is in worse condition than the first. I may purchase this toy again as it’s one of his favorites just to see if the 2nd one was a fluke. Had I paid more than $6.19(I’m a prime member and it was an add on product) I most likely wouldn’t purchase a third one. I’m willing to see if the third one will last at least a yr. if it starts coming apart in less than a week again, I’ll have my answer which would be that chuckit has resorted to making their toys of lessor quality. I hope that’s not the case because they are one of only a couple of brands I hold in high regard for their good quality and durable dog toys. Please see picture. It’s his toy in less than a month. The outer material came off during play last night. It lasted less than a month from time I gave it to him to play with. 5/22/18 update. I bought him a 3rd indoor fumblr, it last almost 3 months...I ordered him a 4th one. I gave it to him Friday, today is Tuesday, his 4th one is already coming apart at the seams. When I ordered 4th fumblr, I bought 2 at the same time, they were $5.19 each(prime member add on price). I’m glad I did because now they are twice the price at now over $10. I very highly doubt I will buy another indoor fumblr unless price drops in half again. This last one that I gave him 4-5days ago, it hasn’t been his daily favorite toy. He’s maybe played with it a couple hrs each day. My dog really LOVES this toy. I’m moving my rating down to a 1 Star from 2 as this toy has consistently come apart rather quickly. I’m very disappointed in the quality of this toy. He’s 5 1/2yrs Old now. 1st fumblr last over 3yrs, he’s gone through the other 3 in under 6months...had I paid over $10 each time, I probably would’ve stopped after the 3rd fumblr came apart. as it is now, I won’t but any more fumblrs by chuckit at this price....if price drops, after he’s gone through the 5th one I have put up...I may consider it...but not at over $10 for a toy that comes apart through normal play in under 5 days...
