This section also examines the importance and benefits of supervisor training, the relationship between quality management and health and safety and the key features of an effective supervisor in modern workplaces. You will explore how organisations conduct a status review of their health and safety management system, the purpose of health and safety policy statements and the planning requirements necessary to integrate health and safety into operational practice. This section also examines the principal requirements for planning and the risk assessment process that ensures health and safety risks are identified, evaluated and controlled.
