About the Winery

Tabarrini is one of Montefalco’s most distinctive producers, based in Turrita, a small village in the hills of Umbria. The estate is led by Giampaolo Tabarrini, the fourth generation of a farming family that has worked this land for decades. He is best known for powerful, site-specific Sagrantino, but the winery’s white wines deserve their own little spotlight. Montefalco may be red-wine country in the popular imagination, but Trebbiano Spoletino has become one of the region’s most compelling quiet arguments.

The Tabarrini style is rooted in precision, patience, and a certain useful stubbornness. The family works vineyards spread across Montefalco, treating each plot as part of a larger mosaic of soil, exposure, and local character.
