Simpson Strong-Tie HU28-2TF Installation Overview
- Fasteners: Use all specified fasteners as per the manufacturer's instructions to ensure maximum load capacity.
- Header Size: The minimum header or ledger size compatible with the HUTF hanger is 3 1/2 inches.
- Sloped and Skewed Installations: The HUTF hanger can be skewed up to 45° or sloped up to 45°. For combined sloped and skewed installations, allowable loads are adjusted to 70% of the table loads.
