Hastings Seattle Salon

Step away from the noise of the world and into a space where creativity breathes and beauty unfolds at its own pace. Hosted in Kathryn Hastings’ home in the historic neighborhood of Ballard, the Hastings Seattle Salon is a two-day immersive workshop designed for just four participants at a time. Intimate, spacious, and slow by design, this gathering is more than a class—it’s a creative retreat and a shared experience.

Each salon begins with a warm welcome and a morning of creative workshop time. Midday, we pause for an elegant tea service—an opportunity to connect, reflect, and delight in the ritual of shared beauty. The afternoon brings more workshop time, unfolding at an unhurried pace. The evening is yours to rest, wander, or simply let the day settle.

On Day Two, we reconvene over morning pastries and continue our creative practice in good company. The salon concludes in the early afternoon, offering a gentle pause before we come back together for a thoughtfully prepared dinner to celebrate the closing of our time.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. We recommend staying in Ballard, as it offers the most convenient access to the salon. Many guests choose nearby Airbnbs or the lovely Hotel Ballard.
