Course Objective

On completion of this course, the participant will gain an appreciation of production and processing cycle of Specialty Coffee from bean to cup and it’s impact on coffee flavour notes, understanding and application of different factors of coffee extraction in relation to filter coffee to tweak it to your preference

• Brew Parameters for Filter Coffee
• Brew using the V60 Pourover Coffee 
• If participants are advanced and time allows, brew using alternative pourover methods like the Clever Cup

Course Methodology

• Understanding coffee origin, roasting and impact on taste
• Application of adjusting Brewing Parameters to change and calibrate the taste of your coffee according to your personal preferences
• Choosing the right filter equipment to bring out the best flavours

All food and service personnel who are responsible for preparing barista coffee, anyone who has the passion to upgrade and work in the Food and Beverage industry, interested hobbyists and passionate home-to-be baristas! Suitable for Beginner-Advanced level brewers. Each stage is meant to cater to a different level of proficiency. Be it for those who are setting up their new cafe to those who are getting their first espresso machine.

Health & Safety

All participants' health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Close supervision is ensured. Heavy tools are used; you may want to wear safety / covered shoes for this workshop experience. If you show symptoms of fever, shortness of breath, or cough, please notify us and do not attend the lesson.

Terms and Conditions

A refund of 50% of the workshop fee will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing and received less than 14 days before the workshop date.

No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop.

We reserve the right to cancel the workshop activity in the event beyond control such as illness, venue availability, or bad weather. If we cancel the session, a refund will be issued within 14-days of notice.

There is an inherent safety risk involved in any workshop session. By registering for this course, Cowpresso and its employees disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury or damage that happened during the event.

Duration

2 Hours for each session. This course can be carried out at our Cafe or in your own home with a transport fee.

Course Fee

NETT Price. Class fee is $200/pax through paynow, and to be paid before confirmation of slot in the class. Bring a friend and second pax is at $175!

If you are purchasing your Home Barista Coffee Machine or Commercial Espresso Machine from us through paynow, enjoy an abbreviated, discounted class with the delivery of your machine in the comfort of your home and using your own equipment! If you have already purchased your machine but feel like you need a class, it will be $300/1st pax with $150/pax additional.
