With a built-in Bluetooth® interface, you have multiple options for ope­ration. You can automatically start the extractor using a Festool cordless tool or an optional remote control, eliminating the need to walk over to the machine. The extractor also connects seamlessly to the Festool app, allowing you to adjust cleaning intervals and receive alerts directly on your smartphone. Smart connectivity makes your work more efficient.

Additionally, the extractor includes several convenient features: the smooth, anti-static suction hose can be easily stored in the integrated Hose Garage to save space, and the bayonet fitting securely attaches the suction hose to your Festool power tool. The T-LOC system enables quick connections to Systainers and the Pre-separator (#204083). All these functions make the extractor a valuable asset in any situation.

How strong is the suction compared to a CT 26 or CT 48?

The CT 36 uses the same high‑performance turbine as the CT 26 and CT 48, so maximum suction power is essentially the same across all three models. The difference is capacity, not power - the CT 36 holds more than the CT 26 but less than the CT 48, giving you longer run time before changing bags.

How does the AutoClean filter-clearing system work?

AutoClean (AC) automatically pulses air through the main filter while you work, knocking off fine dust to keep suction strong. Cleaning intervals can be set (15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds) or triggered for a full clean when filters are heavily loaded, with settings adjustable via onboard controls or the Festool app.

How often does the filter or bag need to be changed?
