The 2025 vintage in Mount Benson was characterised by a warm and relatively dry growing season, with well-timed rainfall in late spring supporting strong canopy growth and fruit set. Summer brought consistent heat, but cool alpine-influenced nights maintained freshness and acidity—ideal for the region’s aromatic whites and lighter reds.
Harvested in the cool of early morning to preserve aromatics, the fruit was gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel to enhance purity and freshness. A small portion was left on lees post-ferment to build mid-palate texture while retaining the variety’s natural vibrancy.
