Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid that supports both digestive and immune system health. The majority of glutamine uptake occurs in the small intestine, where glutamine acts as an important energy source for the intestinal mucosa. During periods of physical stress, glutamine levels can become depleted, increasing the permeability of the intestinal mucosa. Glutamine supplementation has been shown to support normal digestive function and prevent increased intestinal permeability during periods of physical stress.*
Glutamine levels also tend to decrease following prolonged physical exertion, which could impact immune function, as glutamine is a major energy source for certain immune cells. In a clinical study conducted on endurance athletes, glutamine supplementation helped support immune health.*

Great shirt, runs a tad small

Great looking shirt and good value for the money. Depending on your build you may want to order a size larger. I'm 6'4" and 207. I typically wear an XL and ordered an XL. It fits me but is a little snug there is not much room in the shoulders and sleeves or body for that matter. If I were back to my previous weight of 245 with a larger waist I would have to return it and get a XXL.
