With this painting I have been inspired to explore both a new theme and tone which is something I hope to continue in the future. With this painting I have been inspired to explore both a new theme and tone which is something I hope to continue in the future. While my love for colour remains, this particular painting captures my interpretation of a sunset from Selworthy Point at the end of North Hill in Exmoor. Spending many evenings watching the sunset from this spot. It has is a special place for many in the local area. The ever-changing mood of the sky dipicked in this dramatic sunset reminds me of God's canvas, which is beautifully painted each day.  

Incorporating my love for gold leaf which I included in the details of glistening sun peaking through the clouds, this painting truly captures the essence of splendour.
