The Purple Weeping Willow Tree boasts a full, bushy appearance exploding from its trunk creating a lollipop shape. This transforms into its graceful ‘weep like’ character as it ages. When young, you can expect winding slender branches to have a purple and grey tinge with white catkins before new foliage appears. The new leaves put on a display of brilliant maroon that later develops into an extravagant shade of green and blue.

This tree is happiest in full sun, next to an area that contains water as it thrives in well drained but damp soil and is suited to most soil types.
