"Seductively creamy-textured Chardonnay with tree fruit, nectarine, citrus, ginger, spicy oak and baguette crust flavours. An elegant and attractive wine" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Nov 2020

"The classy, youthful 2019 vintage (5*) was grown at 'select vineyards' and barrel-fermented. Bright, light lemon/green, it is fragrant and full-bodied, with searching, vigorous, grapefruit-like flavours, finely integrated oak, slightly smoky notes, impressive complexity and a tightly structured, long finish. Rich, refined and full of personality, it's well worth cellaring to 2023+" Michael Cooper

"Proprietor/winemaker Julianne Brogden 'in collaboration with growers of some of the finest vineyards' of the region. Unfined with minimal filtration. Greenish pale gold. Rather sumptuous on the nose with real texture and life. Pretty snazzy and already offering an enormous amount of pleasure. Exuberant. No copy of white burgundy but a self-confident expression of Hawke's Bay fruit nicely balanced by acidity" Jancis Robinson, Dec 2020

Ageworthy, elegant, rich and complex barrel fermented Chardonnay Lemon and citrus notes interwoven with fine French oak. Yeasty, creamy textured palate with a fine acid backbone.

The Kokako vineyard lies in the Ohiti Valley, uniquely positioned next to the Ngaruroro River and surrounding mountain ranges. The valley experiences very warm days and cool nighttime temperatures. This diurnal shift in temperature produces grapes with naturally high acidity and intense citrus flavours. Formerly an old riverbed the soil consists of silt loam over river gravels. Resulting wines typically show a flinty minerality, with intense citrus notes.

The Askerne vineyard is forward of both the Haumoana and Havelock North hills, close to the Te Awanga coast and Tuki Tuki river. The vineyard is classed as plains and benefits from the cooling winds in all directions resulting in wines with naturally high acidity and purity of fruit and elegance. The soil consists of clay, silt and loam. The wines show a beautiful backbone of acidity with purity of fruit typically lemon notes.

70% clone 15 chardonnay from Kokako vineyard & 30% Mendoza clone from Askerne vineyard Hand picked & chilled overnight with no SO2 Whole bunch pressed to 30% new French oak and 70% matured French oak barrels 100% spontaneous primary yeast fermentation and malo-lactic fermentation. Dry. Aged on lees for 11 months with lees stirring to taste, per barrel. Blend to taste from a barrel selection with a light filtration.

At Collaboration Wines small is beautiful and this ethos informs everything they do from vine to bottle. Proprietor and winemaker Julianne Brogden, is the one woman driving force behind Collaboration Wines, working with a handful of dedicated Hawke’s Bay growers to craft fine wine. Being small enables an approach rooted in a high attention to detail and an obsessive focus on quality that produces memorable wines, which express the vineyards they originate from.

Great for growing minds!
I love these workbooks! We used to buy these at a local store until it closed. They help kids retain what they learned in school over the summer. The worksheet usually takes 5-10 minutes a day.

a perfect summer romance
Format: Paperback
this book was phenomenal!! i loved every page and i fell in love with the story and characters. it’s told in past and present timelines over the course of six summers and one weekend 12 years later. you get small town, second chance romance, childhood best friends to lovers to strangers to lovers, and more! some of my fav tropes in one book <3 i love the parallel events between the past and present chapters, seeing how percy and sam grown and matured but also stay the same throughout the years (iykyk - the friendship bracelets, “swear on it”, ice cream). their attraction and connection are undeniable! the book perfectly captures friendship, teenage angst, first love, loss, mistakes, and forgiveness. it’s also about finding your person, someone who understands you like no other. the writing was spectacular - it was so magical and enchanting as it encapsulated summer nostalgia at a lakeside cottage. i felt like i experienced every summer with percy and sam. i love how real and relatable the characters are. percy and sam are two flawed characters that let their fears get in their way, but they try their best to repair what they broke. i adore sam so so much, he’s the sweetest and kindest guy who loves really hard. the sarcasm and banter between the two were soo good too, i loved how we get a glimpse of what they were like at 13 and then at 30. this is the PERFECT summer read, i highly recommend it!! i promise you’ll love this if you love ‘love and other words’ by christina lauren! i didn’t think i’d find a book like laow that hits the same, but reading this book made my lil laow heart so happy 💞 i’m blown away by the fact that this is carley fortune’s debut novel and i hope there is more to come!

Sam + Percy 💕
Format: Kindle
Every Summer After is a perfect summer read and although it had been in my TBR for so long, I really enjoyed it. I’m a sucker for second chance romance and childhood friends to lovers and I was captivated immediately. Their friendship blossomed into a cute young love romance until one impulsive decision during a vulnerable moment lead to the downfall of Sam & Percy’s relationship. Now over a decade later, Percy makes the trip back to the lake to attend a funeral and memories flood back of her summers with Sam. But does time heal all wounds? Read to find out. I really love young love romances because they are innocent with heighten emotions, personal growths and can be extremely messy. Not to mention the angst that keeps me wanting to read more and this book definitely kept me engaged.
