A beautifully, naturally aged 1991 Fender AVRI '62 stratocaster - the kind of vibe only time-in-use provides, nothing matches real-deal wear for character. The Candy Apple Red nitro is wearing away and exposing the gold undercoat for an incredibly vibey unique look.
Body shows quite obviously a good deal of natural playwear but has no major damage or issues. Back of neck is in very good condition with no notable damage or blemishes. Headstock shows some light marks along the edge but is otherwise clean. Fretboard shows some light marks and wear along the edge but is otherwise clean with no major damage or blemishes. Frets show some decent wear and divots mostly in the "Cowboy chords" position. Still plays great up the neck with no issues of buzzing or Fretting out/dead spots. Hardware shows some age/rust and general wear but all functions perfectly. Electronics have been thoroughly cleaned and work perfectly. Original pickups were missing so we put it back to stock with a brand new set of USA Fender 57/62 pickups - everything else is original.
This has to be one of the coolest finishes we've ever seen... the gold peeking out from underneath the candy apple red, and the wood peeking out underneath the gold is just awesome. And all natural wear! No relic department on this one! Plays amazing as well. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes Fender tweed hard case.
