What is the difference between the 10" pouch (this product) and the 12" Mold-to-Fit pouch (SKU 401500–401504)?

These two pouches are identical in every way except pouch length. Both are opaque, two-sided comfort panel, no-filter, tail clip, Mold-to-Fit contour design, same 5 flange sizes, available in 10/pack and 20/pack. The only difference is the 10" version is 2 inches shorter. The 10" is preferred by patients with smaller frames, active lifestyles, or those who prefer to empty more frequently throughout the day. The 12" provides greater capacity between empties — better for higher-output stomas or patients who prefer fewer emptying intervals. If you are currently using the 12" and looking for a more discreet option, the 10" is the natural step down.

How does the tail clip closure work?

Fold the bottom of the pouch over the tail clip once only — not twice. Press firmly on the center of the clip until it snaps closed. To drain, open the clip, allow contents to empty through the wide tail opening, wipe the outlet, then refold and reclip. Two tail clips are included per box. Inspect regularly and replace if cracked or no longer snapping securely.

Why is there no filter on this pouch?

This pouch is designed without a filter — gas venting is managed manually by briefly opening the tail clip. Some patients prefer filterless pouches as filters can become wet during bathing or swimming, temporarily losing their function. Is transparent film available in this 10" version?
