A long-wearing hydrating foundation with a natural matte finish the everyday face base that combines professional coverage with genuine skincare benefit. Formulated with Cuateteco, Vagheggi's signature eco-sustainable, fair-trade active known for its hydrating and emollient properties, the foundation preserves cutaneous comfort throughout the day while controlling excess sebum and shine. Its fluid, easily workable texture glides onto the skin naturally, delivering a homogeneous, buildable application from medium to high coverage that remains fresh and harmonious from morning to evening. Suitable for all skin types; particularly ideal for normal, combination and dehydrated skin.

Key Benefits:

  • Cuateteco for Hydration That Lasts All Day: The inclusion of the Cuateteco active a fair-trade, eco-sustainable extract ensures the foundation actively maintains the skin's hydrolipidic balance during wear, rather than simply sitting on top of it. This is a meaningful point of difference over conventional long-wear foundations that can exacerbate dryness.
  • Matte Finish Without Discomfort: A calibrated combination of film-forming agents and mattifying powders controls excess sebum and reduces shine throughout the day, leaving the skin soft and visibly balanced without the dry or tight sensation that clients often associate with matte formulas.
  • Buildable Coverage for Natural or Full Looks: The fluid, workable texture delivers medium-to-high buildable coverage, adaptable to each client's preference and occasion from a light everyday finish to a more corrective result without caking or settling into fine lines.
  • Versatile Application - Brush, Sponge or Fingers: The formula adapts to all application tools: apply with the Contouring Brush n.20 for an impeccable finish, with a blending sponge for a smoothed effect, or with fingertips for an ultra-natural result making it equally suited to professional application and client home use.

How to Use: Apply to cleansed, moisturised skin using a brush, sponge or fingertips. Build coverage as desired — start light and layer for a more corrective result. Best paired with the Contour Stick and Phytomakeup powder for a complete base.

Available Shades:

  • N.10 Soft Moon - A light and delicate shade, perfect for very fair skin tones seeking a luminous, natural finish—almost ethereal, like moonlight.
  • N.20 Neutral Harmony - A neutral, versatile shade designed for medium skin tones with balanced undertones, delivering an even and harmonious complexion.
  • N.30 Golden Sand: A warm golden beige, ideal for skin with warm undertones looking for a natural, sun-kissed finish.

Good, Fun, Important Topics
Format: Paperback
Good, solid, read for ages 12+. Somewhat unrealistic and yet believable story of two strong young female characters traveling west disguised as boys. Couldn't stop reading it until I was finished with the book, and now my granddaughter is doing the same. This book has many relevant themes about race, gender, class, religion, and other stereotypes and is an excellent choice for a classroom or family read aloud. Get it.

Wonderful story, great for book club though written by a young adult author.
Format: Kindle
Such a “cliffhanger” for me, a just could not put it down. I read this Wild West historical novel three times, that is how good it was. Such great fun for me, while got the ladies in our book club talking about growing up, being brave.

My pick for Best YA from 2015
Format: Kindle
I don't usually like Westerns, but this historical novel reads like a racially diverse Little House on the Prairie. There's a touch of romance, but the most important relationship is the friendship between these two resourceful girls. The writing is superb with well developed characters, a fast pace and a fine sense of place and period (1849). Despite dealing with tough issues like murder, slavery and racism, it still manages to be a feel good story, appropriate for tweens as well as teens. The girl protagonists are 15 and 16 and the boys are a bit older. This debut tops my list of best YA from 2015 that I've read to date: http://blog.sarahlaurence.com/2015/12/best-ya-books-of-2015.html

Nice
Format: Kindle
There is some attempted sexual violence. Otherwise this is a good book for middle and high schoolers. Story of a Chinese American and African American girl on the run in the wild wild west.

... into YA Westerns and I have yet to be disappointed. Under a Painted Sky is a diverse
Format: Hardcover
Over the past year I have made a foray into YA Westerns and I have yet to be disappointed. Under a Painted Sky is a diverse, cultural infused tale of two girls, Our main character, Sam a Chinese, newly orphaned girl, teams up with Annamae (Andy), an African-America, runaway slave. Together they flee St. Joe, Missouri disguised as boys and begin on the Oregon Trail. They soon join three cowboys who help keep them safe and teach them how to survive. I think what I loved most about this book is how Lee was able to incorporate Sam's Chinese heritage and beliefs along with Andy's and intertwine all it beautifully into this richly told story. Sam's and Andy's friendship was also a highlight of the book. It caused for some great moments, some funny, many heartfelt, and I was glad to see such a positive example of female friendship in a YA novel. Although "girl disguised as boy" seem to be a common theme in YA westerns I did not mind it here and thought Sam's inner thoughts about the challenges of pretending to be a boy were hilarious. I think Lee struck the perfect balance between an adventure story, a coming of age tale, and portrait of what life could be like for minorities and females in the 1800s
