COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to The Ethical & Socially Responsible Workplace course. This program has been designed to equip you with the knowledge, analytical skills, and behavioural foundations required to understand ethics, apply sound moral reasoning, and promote socially responsible organisational practices. You will explore the principles underlying ethical conduct, the drivers of unethical behaviour, the meaning and scope of corporate social responsibility, and the mechanisms that support ethical decision making in modern workplaces.

This course begins by examining what ethics and corporate social responsibility are. This section explains the definition of ethics, the meaning of business ethics, the ethical reasoning inventory, the philosophical principles underlying ethical conduct, the reasons for focusing on consequences and pragmatism, the importance of deontological rights-based thinking, and the relevance of integrity through virtue ethics.

The next learning area explores business values and ethics in daily organisational life. This section explains the sources of unethical decisions and behaviour, the influence of individual characteristics and the nature of moral issues, the ethical climate within organisations, the types of ethical temptations and violations, how employers can protect themselves against harassment charges, and the importance of good cyber-ethics and professional netiquette, including how business scandals illustrate ethical failures.

The next learning area outlines frameworks and tools for ethical decision making. This section explains the guide to ethical decision making, the meaning and components of corporate social responsibility, the contrasting stockholder versus stakeholder viewpoints, the idea of corporate social performance, the wide range of social responsibility initiatives, the role of philanthropy, the purpose of work/life programs, the value of community redevelopment projects, and the organisational acceptance of whistle-blowers and compassionate downsizing as part of responsible practice.

The next learning area focuses on environmental and social stewardship. This section explains the importance of environmental protection, the variety of work/life programs available to support employees, how socially responsible policies enhance organisational reputation, and how ethical and social commitments reflect long-term organisational values and accountability.

The next learning area explains how to create an ethical and socially responsible workplace. This section outlines the formal mechanisms for monitoring ethics, the elements of an ethics and compliance program, the importance of written organisational codes of conduct, the value of widespread communication about ethics and social responsibility, and how leadership by example and ethical role modelling strengthen organisational standards.

The next learning area examines how organisations encourage ethical accountability. This section explains the importance of promoting open confrontation about ethical deviations, implementing training programs in ethics and social responsibility, and fostering a culture in which employees understand their responsibilities, feel safe raising concerns, and actively participate in ethical improvement.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand key ethical theories, recognise the sources of unethical behaviour, apply structured ethical decision-making tools, evaluate corporate social responsibility initiatives, identify mechanisms that promote ethical accountability, support organisational integrity, and contribute to workplaces that are both ethical and socially responsible in practice.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
