Straw with green highlights in colour. An appealing mix of fresh aromas including feijoa, orange blossom, nashi pear and wild honey. There is also a floral lift full of jasmine and rose petal. The palate is refreshing and lively. It opens with layers of baked apple and pear skin flavours that are complemented by succulent acidity and oatmeal texture from wild fermentation and lees aging with a hint of cinnamon on the finish.

Cool and dry conditions during Winter and Spring led to a late start to the season and good canopy growth. With above average temperatures in December, this early growth was critical for maintaining the health of the vines. Cooler conditions prevailed in January and into February with the mild days and cool nights contributing to wonderful freshness and acidity at harvest.
