Installation Guide

  1. Safety First: Ensure the engine is completely cool and the battery is disconnected before starting.
  2. Locate the Sensor: Find the old oxygen sensor, which is threaded into the exhaust housing assembly.
  3. Disconnect Wiring: Carefully unplug the wired electrical connector. Take note of the routing and connection points.
  4. Remove the Old Sensor: Using an appropriate oxygen sensor socket or wrench, unscrew and remove the old sensor. It may be tight, so apply steady pressure.
  5. Install the New Sensor: Thread the new oxygen sensor into the housing by hand to prevent cross-threading. Tighten it securely with a wrench, but do not overtighten.
  6. Reconnect Wiring: Plug in the new sensor's electrical connector, ensuring it clicks into place for a secure fit.
  7. Final Checks: Reconnect the battery. Start the engine and check for any exhaust leaks near the sensor or any engine warning lights.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

How do I confirm this sensor fits my Yamaha engine?
Check your engine's model and year against the "Compatible Engine Models" table. This sensor is designed for specific Yamaha 2-Stroke V6 models from 150HP to 200HP (1999–2005). Verifying the OEM part number (67H-8592A-00 or 67H-8592A-01) on your old part is the most reliable method.

What are the signs of a failing oxygen sensor?
Common symptoms include poor fuel economy, rough idling, decreased engine performance, failed emissions tests, or a "Check Engine" light. The engine's EFI system relies on this sensor to calculate the correct fuel-air mixture.

Is this a direct replacement for the original Yamaha part?
Yes, this is a direct aftermarket replacement for Yamaha OEM part numbers 67H-8592A-00-00 and 67H-8592A-01-00, as well as Sierra part 18-7655. It is designed to match the original's fit and function.

Our pup loves the cronch cronch!
Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
I bought our 15 month old Coton several Chuck-It toys on an Amazon deal. He is incredibly playful, mischievous, and ball/toy obsessed, especially for anything that makes noise. He can also be very destructive so I love how durable most of their products are - they’re among our longest lasting toys and worth every penny. We have yet to take them to the dog park, but they’re a perfect size for sharing in play time. And they are keeping him busy at home - that’s a good thing. He loves investigating the crunchy-cronchy-crinkly sound which is a nice change from squeakers. It can withstand his destructive chewing well-being, gentle on his little teeth. I love that. Chuck-It is thinking outside the box with a variety of balls to keep dogs engaged! I do worry about the crinkle plastic inside because it is accessible because of the air holes and it feels a little sharp. So this will have to be an at home toy so we can monitor his play.

My dog loves it!
Style: Ball, Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
This crunch ball was a Christmas gift for my 65lbs fur baby. It’s now mid April and he still loves it. He loves running after it and chomping down on it. It is still in good shape despite all the chomping it’s gotta . I highly recommend. He goes back to this toy agin and again! Great buy.

Our first babies favorite and longest lasting ball yet and he is fixing to be 7.

Toughest ball we have found yet. Our doberman loves Chuckit! Balls especially the crunch one. He spreads all the balls and toys we have bought but these lasted the longest. The crunch and the glow in the dark are usually his pick but he has several different choices.

This is a great ball for high energy dogs.
Color: Blue
I have a Belgian Malinois, so you can imagine the Maligator jaws. Just opened this today and let her play with it indoors. She LOVES IT. It wore her out and it’s a toy she can really stay focused on without needing me to throw or roll for her. It moves on its own! I supervised her play. I was hoping it was too big to get under the couch, but no. It goes right under it. I had to block off the gap so I didn’t have to keep getting it out from under for her. The outter “shell” is very durable! When she had resting moments, she chewed it pretty good - I could hear the material squeaking against her teeth. I was worried she was tearing it up, but nope! Not a mark on it. It’s easy to set up and operate. It needed charging before play. After hours of play, she was able to somehow unscrew the outter shell. This concerned me bc the smaller, inner ball mechanism came out but I saw it right away and was able to put it back together. So, make sure it’s screwed together tightly (which I thought I had done without breaking it) and check it from time to time to make sure it hasn’t loosened. This is a great ball for her incredible high energy drive. It gives her the work and fun play she needs to get tired, which I love. This toy is on the expensive end, but so far it’s worth it. Now we’ll see how long it lasts!
