The quality of craftsmanship on these chessmen is quite extraordinary and something which only an expert carver with years of experience can achieve. The quality of craftsmanship on these chessmen is quite extraordinary and something which only an expert carver with years of experience can achieve.
Each piece is lovingly hand-carved and hand-turned by experienced master artisans with years of experience crafting luxury chess pieces.
They have then been artificially aged to give effect of vintage patina on the chessmen. Double Weighted with Lead studs, these chessmen have substantial ballast to them to ensure great stability on the chessboard.
They are heirloom quality chessmen which will last for many decades to come.

Instructions aren’t very clear. Takes a bit to figure out. Pretty cheap quality, but seems to be sturdy. The metal basket part of ours came rather bent and had to do some bending to get it to fit right. Decent size could be little thicker. They look good though once up.
