Dalbello Lupo AX 120 is a ski boot with a split personality.  In bounds, and skiing downhill, it is a top performing Free Ride boot with the legendary performance of Dalbello's 3 piece Cabriolet design.  In the back country, hiking or skinning uphill it offers a super easy stride with excellent traction and very long range of motion.  It is almost possible to forget it is a ski when skiing or walking.  Very easy uphill, and a great performer down hill.  It is truly an amazing crossover boot.

Lupo AX 120 includes features not found on any other ski boot.  First and foremost is Dalbello's unique removable tongue system.  Flip a lever, and slip the tongue off the boot, and carry it in your back pack.  The front of the boot has a full water shield gasket, and now a much lighter overall weight.  With a very low hinge point where the upper and lower shells meet, and a well designed flex zone in the back of the liner, this boot feels like a mountaineering boot with a 67 degree range of motion.  Grip walk soles with Vibram rubber for extra traction complete the hiking/walking features of this innovative design.

Lupo AX 120 is also engineered with Dalbello's time tested, 3 piece shell design.  The Kinetic Response Tongue is very dynamic in forward flex, helping you be quicker from turn to turn.  But also, super stiff laterally, so maximum energy is transmitted to the ski's edge.   The Dynalink heel retention system offers a zone of fit adjustment that locks the foot down and back in the boot, still allowing for separate adjustment around the leg and lower foot.

Inside, the Lupo AX 120 has lots to love also.  The InstaFit Air HD liner forms very quickly to the shape of your foot, with excellent support and no extra weight.  And don't forget that well designed flex zone in the back of the liner that helps the liner hinge forward and back as the upper cuff moves with each stride.
