A bed that actually looks like a bed
The PawRidge™ is a round, deep-walled donut bed made from a dense faux rabbit-fur plush — the outer ring built from individual ribbed sausage-shaped tubes of filling, packed tightly together to form a raised, cushioned wall all the way around the sleeping area. The result is a nest shape your pet can curl into, rest their chin on the rim, or sprawl across the centre depending on their mood.
That ribbed construction is not just visual. Each tube compresses independently, which means the wall moulds slightly to however your pet settles — firmer support when they press against it, softer where they're not. The sleeping floor is the same plush fabric, generously filled, with no hard base underneath.
Available in three sizes — 40cm, 50cm and 60cm diameter — and three colours: Cream, Blush Pink, and Dove Grey. The smaller two sizes suit cats and small dogs; the 60cm works comfortably for medium and larger breeds as shown in the images.

Worth knowing
If your pet likes to curl tight and feel enclosed, go true-to-size. If they tend to sprawl or stretch out fully, size up. When in doubt between two sizes, the larger one gives more sleeping-floor space without losing the nest effect of the rim.

Common questions
My pet is between sizes — which should I choose?
Go up. The larger size gives more sleeping-floor space and the wall height stays proportional — your pet still gets the enclosed nest feeling. Buying the smaller size is the more common regret.
Can this be machine washed?
We recommend spot cleaning for marks and gentle hand washing for a full refresh — this preserves the plush pile and the shape of the ribbed rim over time. Avoid wringing or tumble drying, which can distort the tube filling.
Is this suitable for dogs as well as cats?
Yes — the 40cm and 50cm work well for small breeds and toy dogs in addition to cats. The 60cm handles medium-sized dogs comfortably. If your dog is a heavy chewer or very active in their bed, a firmer structured bed may suit them better; for dogs who settle calmly to sleep, this works well.
Will my cat actually use it?
Honest answer: cats are famously unpredictable about beds. What we can say is that the raised-rim nest shape is one of the formats cats adopt most readily — it mirrors the enclosed, supported sleeping positions they seek out naturally. Placing the bed near a favourite spot (rather than where you'd like them to sleep) speeds adoption considerably.
What is the fabric made from?
The outer and sleeping surface is a faux rabbit-fur plush — no animal fur is used. It is a soft, dense synthetic pile fabric with a slightly long nap. The filling inside each ribbed tube is polyester. The base material is pending supplier confirmation — we will update this listing once confirmed.
