Marblewood Slab - #14 - 2-3/8" x 15" +/- x 48"Marblewood (Marmaroxylon racemosum) has heartwood in an orange yellow color with black wavy streaking that gives it a marble appearance. Grain is interlocked and coarse textured. Turns well, but a sharp edge is recommended. Finishes to a high luster. Common uses include cabinet work, inlay and small decorative items, carving, turnings. Slab measures 2 3 8" x 15" + x 48" and has been surfaced both sides.
