Recharge-ability

With it’s built in lithium-ion rechargeable battery the Pure Charge & Go AX is designed to provide up to 36 hours of wear time in the larger model that has the tele-coil the (T AX). The smaller (AX) version provides approximately 24 hours of wear time. These durations include around 5 hours of audio streaming time from bluetooth devices which drain the batteries more rapidly.

Extended Dynamic Range

An extended dynamic range is valuable for the analogue to digital converter to naturally replicate the true volume of sounds in the environment. Pure AX hearing aids have a higher upper limit of 117dB which helps preserve the natures of volume especially louder sounds. Louder sounds won’t seem muffled but clear and natural as they’re supposed to be. This its ideal for music enjoyment and even for people who sing or play musical instruments.

Own Voice Processing 2.0 (OVP™ 2.0)

For many hearing aids wearers acclimatising to the sound of your own voice can be difficult. Unique to Signia is their patented and developed Own Voice Processing or OVP. By recognising your own voice the Signia AX hearing aids reduce the volume of your own voice whilst you are talking without sacrificing the desired speech signal of others.  This has the effect of making your own voice significantly less invasive which has been a long term problem for hearing aid wearers. OVP is only possible with binaural fittings (both ears) and both instruments require directional capability. This is because 4 microphones are needed to accomplish OVP.

Motion Sensors

Motion sensors  recognise when you are in moving and automatically modify how the automatic directionality is applied. When you are stationary say at a dinner table and the background noise escalates the automatically adaptive directional microphones give more of a forward focus to reduce the invasive noise from the sides and behind and help focus on the speech from the front. However when you are moving such as walking the motion sensors detect this movement and limit the forward focus of the microphones so you are more environmentally aware of where sounds are coming from and don’t miss speech from someone you may be walking next to for example.
