While the rest of the world is limited to the 3.7L V6 engine, the North American market received a 5.6L V8 option for its top-of-the-line model. The VK56 was originally designed to be installed in trucks and SUVs, so for it to fit under the low hood line of the sedan, a low-profile dual inlet intake manifold similar to one found in the 370Z was produced specifically for the Y51.
