N2ITIVE - Model S/X Refresh (2021+) - Mousetrap Lowering Link Range ExtendersIn 2021, Tesla drastically upgraded their suspension on the S X. They made some amazing changes but this ultimately reduced the clearance of the rear ride height sensor and the sub frame. What this means is that when using lowering links, you can only extend the links by about 5mm before the lowering link runs out of room and will impact the aft toe arm bolt while the suspension is drooped down. In 2021, Tesla drastically upgraded their suspension on the S/X. They made some amazing changes but this ultimately reduced the clearance of the rear ride height sensor and the sub-frame. What this means is that when using lowering links, you can only extend the links by about 5mm before the lowering link runs out of room and will impact the aft toe arm bolt while the suspension is drooped down. While the -5 setting is a nice drop, the N2itive links have the ability to reach -20. We’ve had many requests from our customers to engineer a solution for this first-world problem. Until now, running settings longer this was risky as you could break the plastic ball off the mount. With the rear mousetraps installed this is no longer an issue and you can lengthen the links to your liking.
