This is a color wrap, not a coating you can see through. It lays a fresh flat layer of polymeric PVC vinyl right over your existing paint, which changes the look completely and takes the daily hits of road grime, light scuffs and washing instead of the factory finish underneath. When you are ready for a change, it comes off and your original paint is still there.
