Description

HR Variable Coma Corrector (2-inch)Designed by renowned optical engineer Harrie Rutten, the HR Variable Coma Corrector eliminates coma, field curvature, and astigmatism in Newtonian reflectors delivering sharp, round stars across the entire field of view. The 4 element EMC coated optical design achieves a Strehl ratio of 0. 98 at f 4 and 0. 96 at f 3, with a fully corrected field diameter of 30mm. Unlike imaging only correctors, the HRCC02 is a photo visual design it works for both

Designed by renowned optical engineer Harrie Rutten, the HR Variable Coma Corrector eliminates coma, field curvature, and astigmatism in Newtonian reflectors — delivering sharp, round stars across the entire field of view. The 4-element EMC-coated optical design achieves a Strehl ratio of 0.98 at f/4 and 0.96 at f/3, with a fully corrected field diameter of 30mm.

Unlike imaging-only correctors, the HRCC02 is a photo-visual design — it works for both astrophotography and visual observing without swapping accessories. The built-in helical focuser provides fine-focus adjustment for visual use with 2" eyepieces, while M42 and M48 camera adapters (both included) connect directly to your imaging setup.

The variable spacer with laser-etched markings lets you tune the corrector for different Newtonian configurations. Works with parabolic Newtonians f/3 and slower — including fast imaging Newtonians where coma correction is most critical.

Key Features
  • 4-element optical design with EMC (Enhanced Multi-Coating)
  • Strehl 0.98 at f/4, 0.96 at f/3 — diffraction-limited performance
  • Photo-visual: built-in helical focuser for 2" eyepieces + camera adapters for imaging
  • Variable spacer with laser-etched markings for tuning to your specific Newtonian
  • M42 and M48 camera adapters included (HRCC02-00 model)
  • 2" barrel with filter thread

Ideal For
  • Newtonian astrophotographers — eliminate coma for round stars across the full corrected field
  • Visual observers with fast Newtonians — the built-in helical focuser delivers sharp edge-to-edge views through 2" eyepieces
  • Fast f/ratio systems (f/3–f/5) — where coma correction has the biggest visual and imaging impact

It is a good sunscreen, but if your skin is very oily, think again.
Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: SPF 50
I have tried many, MANY sunscreens, and this one is in my top 10, but not at the very top. Why not? Well, what I like about it is that you get a good amount for an excellent price. It's lightweight, but not extremely so, and this size can easily last you 3 months without any problem. However, while it's made for oily skin, it's not that light. After just a few hours of application, it can leave your skin feeling greasy, especially if you sweat easily. It doesn't leave a white cast, but it does leave a slight, shiny finish. Reapplying isn't very comfortable. If you use it just once a day, it's fine, but if you apply it more often, your skin will feel a bit heavy and oily. I think this sunscreen is better for specific occasions rather than for daily use. If I had to choose a sunscreen for daily use, I would pick one with a lighter formula, like Fusion Water from Isdin.

stellar sunscreen for face- sensitive skin friendly, feels good not greasy on, timeless
Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: SPF 50
I used to try out different brands and this is the one I've got to have for my face- safe on sensitive skin and just feels really nice and not greasy putting on, sometimes I get stuck borrowing so now I get a few and have them in various places. Also, I appreciate they don't change the packaging or add other versions so I can grab and always feels great and works on

Works great but does not hold up to sweat
Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: SPF 50
Dissolves with intense exercise then burns eyes and makes a mess, but otherwise works great.

A Charming Historical Cozy Mystery
Format: Audiobook
Lady Hardcastle and her companion Florence Armstrong, have moved to the country. They think they’ll find a quiet life, but almost as soon as they set foot into the area, things start happening. Before they know it, they’re involved in helping to investigate two very different murders. They have some previous experience with such things, but will the constabulary take them seriously? I mean, they are women, after all; what cam they possibly know about such things?. This was a charming cozy mystery, and I can’t wait to listen to more books in this series. The writing was top notch, and the characters a delight. The plot was beautifully developed and executed. All in all, this was a jolly good read. I really enjoyed learning some of the backstory for Lady Hardcastle and Flo. I listened to the Audible audiobook of A Quiet Life in the Country. I thought it was remarkably well narrated. Truly, I look forward to learning more about Lady Hardcastle, Flo, and their new friends and associates. I purchased a copy of this audiobook from Audible or Amazon. I can’t remember which. In any case, all opinions in this review reflect my true and honest reactions to reading this book.
