This is a solar product and it requires sunlight to be powered. The length of time these stay illuminated depends on the time of year and weather conditions. They will still work in winter but only for a couple of hours from dusk. Approximate lighting times are: Spring = 2 - 5 hours, Summer = 5 - 8 hours, Autumn = 2 - 5 hours, Winter = 0 - 2 hours. Needs modification to work correctly.

It is okay, but the brushes fall through the holes' making them hard to retrieve. The only way to get them out of the holder is to pull up on the bristles or push the handle from the bottom. Both don't work well. My solution is simple, just install a "stop" below the holes. My solution is ugly but works. It took me about 15 minutes to modify.
