Omega 3-6-9 by NOW®  is a blend of flaxseed, evening primrose, rapeseed, blackcurrant and pumpkin seed oils. These well-known nutritional oils have been combined in carefully selected proportions to obtain balanced proportions of Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids. Omega-3, alpha-Linolenic acid (ALA) and Omega-6, GLA, play an important role in maintaining healthy skin and immune system function. Omega-9 fatty acid supports the healthy functioning of the cardiovascular system.

Each serving can provide the following amounts of naturally occurring polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats:

Omega-3 oils: alpha linolenic acid (ALA) – 45%

Omega-6 oils: linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid (GLA) – 26.5%

Omega-9 oils: oleic acid – 17.5%

Other oils: short-chain fatty acids, saturated fats, phospholipids, etc. – 11%.
