The Turquoise Cove Ring is a sculptural sterling silver ring set with a vivid turquoise cabochon. The silver band flows upward in layered curves that cradle the stone, creating a sense of movement similar to water circling within a quiet coastal cove.

The ring is formed through the Mitsuro Hikime art form, where specially prepared wax is gently warmed and stretched by hand. As the wax elongates, it develops natural ridges and flowing lines that record the motion of the maker’s hands. Once cast in sterling silver and carefully finished, these textures remain embedded in the metal.

Because the wax responds differently each time it is drawn, the resulting patterns can never be repeated. Each ring emerges with its own structure and rhythm, making every piece entirely one of a kind.
