| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Good Book, not Parshall though

The author uses more Japanese terms than any similar book that I've read but uses western naming conventions for Japanese people. I don't quite know what to think. Good diagrams.

Interesting front to back

A very good treatment of the subject matter, especially valuable as it mines the Japanese sources, which have largely been ignored by the Western historians. The narrative is clear and easy to follow & background detail gives important context into the psychological aspects of the events. Definitely recommended!
