How to Use Detachol Adhesive Remover

Vial Format (0513-48 · 0513-16)

1. Place the blister pack label-side down on a hard surface. Gently press through the blister to crack the inner ampule.
2. Peel back the blister lid and remove the vial using aseptic technique.
3. Gently squeeze the vial to apply Detachol to the corner or edge of the tape or dressing.
4. Once the corner is saturated, carefully begin to lift. Continue applying Detachol while gently lifting — work under the dressing progressively rather than pulling all at once.
5. Continue until the dressing or tape is fully removed. Clean the skin area with mild soap and water.

Bottle Format (0513-15 · 0513-06 · 0513-04)

1. Apply Detachol to a cotton ball, gauze, or swab — or apply directly from the bottle onto the edge of the dressing or tape.
2. Allow to saturate the adhesive edge briefly, then begin lifting. Continue applying as you slowly peel back the dressing.
3. Once removed, clean the skin with mild soap and water. Allow to dry before applying a new dressing or barrier.

Note: Use on intact skin only — avoid contact with open wounds or broken skin. Do not use near open flame.
