Player sponsorships are first come first serve. 

Where your support goes

Ice hockey is an expensive sport. A single player goes through four or more sticks in a season before factoring in road trip essentials, travel costs, physio appointments and strength and conditioning programs that most athletes fund themselves.

Your partnership helps cover those costs directly, giving your player access to better recovery resources, injury prevention services and the ability to focus on performing at the highest level without carrying the financial pressure that comes with it.

What's included as part of your sponsorship

• Your logo on the pants of your selected player for the entire 2026 season.
• Creative rights to use your player in business promotions, marketing materials, and digital content.
• Mentions by name every time your player features: in venue, on AIHL.TV broadcast, and across all digital and promotional channels. For example: "Goal scored by Ryan Annesley, sponsored by Raiden Technologies!"
• Your logo displayed at every Sydney Bears home game.
• A signed, player-worn jersey presented to you at the end of the season.
• Comprehensive digital and social support, including a dedicated email campaign, social sharing across Bears channels and a feature article on the Bears website.
• 2x transferrable season passes for the 2026 season, plus discounts on merchandise and preferred pricing on VIP hospitality tickets.
• A discounted rate to upgrade your partnership to a club sponsorship or broader advertising package.

FAQ

Can I choose which player I sponsor? Yes. Partnerships are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Get in touch and we'll confirm which players are available.

What's the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive? Exclusive partnerships mean you/ your brand are the only sponsor of that player in 2026. Non exclusive partnerships allow for the player to have more than one sponsor for the season.

Is this open to individuals as well as businesses? Absolutely. Player partnerships suit both businesses seeking brand exposure and individuals who want to directly support a player they know or follow.

How are logo placements managed? We handle all production. You provide your logo files and we take care of the rest. If we don't have a logo we can create one for you. 

What if I want more than a player partnership? Player partners receive a discounted rate to upgrade to a full club sponsorship or advertising package whenever you're ready.

Am I able to contact the sponsored player directly? No, all requests for your sponsored player need to be made through the club.
