The graceful and stylish UGears Trimaran Merihobus invites you to leave the peaceful harbor and sail away into an unknown faraway land on an exciting marine mechanical adventure. The UGears Trimaran Merihobus is a classic multihull sailboat designed in the skeleton style to show off a lot of details such as bulkheads, frames, rigging, and hulls, which makes her a very realistic miniature copy of real-life prototypes. The rear rudder blade is steered by the ropes connected through the pontoons to the master wheel on the stern. The sailboat has a lovely finishing touch in the form of a tiny seahorse carved in the bow of the boat. The curious sea creature also known as the merihobus gave the boat her name.
Assembly requires neither glue nor special tools to turn the boat into a functional sailboat. Just like on real trimarans, this UGears mainsail and fore stay sail on the mast can be set or taken in. The mainsail of the Trimaran Merihobus is set on the mast groove with the main top halyard. The stay sail “rolls up” on a stay. At the front under the bowsprit, you will find the stay sail's winch drum. Sail booms are operated by a lever that pulls the sheet of the boom. This model allows you to create your own flag design for the ship. It comes with several templates and with the aid of the winch and hoists, you can ensign your ship. Strong but thin white thread is used for the rigging. This ensures the structure of the boat remains neat and light even with a lot of details while making the mast and other elements remain in perfect positions
