Crespaia is an emerging superstar in the Marche region of Italy. The winery was founded in 2011 when Rossano Sgammini purchased the 13-hectare estate, located in Località Prelato, an eighteenth-century settlement that once belonged to a local lord. If there is one thing we know about wine in countries like Italy and France, it’s that either the church or local nobility always possessed the best vineyards.

Crespaia is located just three kilometers off the coast, near the historically important city of Fano. The vineyards are located around 150 meters in elevation, oriented from south to north. The sea winds and exposition allow for freshness, and make the vineyards ideal for the Bianchello grape variety. Bianchello del Metauro is a small DOC that was created in 1969 and named after the Metauro river, which flows through the region. In total, there are only 114 hectares in the entire appellation. The grape variety of the region is Biancame, although it is often referred to simply as Bianchello.

Crespaia produces the best example of Bianchello del Metauro in the region. Rossano and his daughter Cecilia are dedicated to producing the best possible version. They make three wines from the variety, including a sparkling, an “everyday” version, and this wine, “Chiaraluce,” a Superiore made from the best grapes of the estate. The organically farmed grapes are manually harvested, destemmed, and softly pressed. Fermentation is carried out with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged on its lees, the excellent 2023 vintage was bottled in July 2024.

The 2023 “Chiaraluce” is a spectacular white wine value. Beautiful aromas leap out of the glass, with citrus, apricot, white flowers and a salty minerality. The palate shows both texture and vibrancy. This is a fresh and delicious white wine with incredible complexity. Drink it now with simply adorned shellfish dishes or sushi. While it’s delicious now, those looking to stock great values in their cellar should note that this wine can age beautifully for a decade. Don’t miss it!

Great product and value for the money
Pattern Name: Half Ears, Size: 4 Pound (Pack of 1)
Dog loves these. I only feed her natural food and treats. These are very healthy. She's a strong healthy 2 year old puppy. Will be buying again soon. It is a great product for the money. They are chewed up in minutes because she loves them. They do have a bit of an odor but it's not overbearing.

A great natural treat option, my dog approves
Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 8 Count, Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 8 Count
Ingredients: Natural pig ears 👍, they smell smoky (my dog loves it, I don’t mind it), most of the time they are a decent size. My dog is half American bully and a heavy chewer so these are a great option for him. The quality is always good, and the bags I get are always fresh. These are a good treat for him when I have to sneak out for a bit or when I am leaving for work in the morning. I have purchased these several times. I also appreciate the eco friendly bag :)

Great Natural Chew Dogs Love, but Can Be a Bit Messy
Pattern Name: Half Ears, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
These pig ears are a big hit with dogs and keep them busy for a good while. They’re made from a single ingredient, which is a nice plus if you’re looking for something more natural. They help with chewing and can support dental health by reducing plaque while your dog works on them. That said, they can be a little greasy and have a smell, which is pretty normal for pig ears. Also, they may not last as long for heavy chewers. Overall, a tasty and natural treat most dogs will love, just expect a little mess.
